Welcome From Craig Hayner
Dear Friends:
Welcome to our campaign for New York’s 109th Assembly District representing the wonderful communities of Colonie, Halfmoon and Clifton Park. It is time to put the State back on the side of its people and prosperity.
Let’s face it; New York’s economy is in tough shape. Throughout my daily travels I go to businesses of all types and meet people from all different occupations. To say that businesses are seriously concerned with their future would be putting it mildly. Small businesses are the key to job creation but right now they are in survival mode. When they are worried about the next tax, fee, regulation or unfunded mandate from State government, they don’t add jobs. Unfortunately, nothing will change the minds of entrepreneurs and investors behind job growth if we don’t change the State’s direction. The dysfunction in Albany adds embarrassment to go with the job-killing tax burdens shrinking our economic base.
Tough times call for tough choices and new leadership. There are many lessons you learn through the experiences of growing up on a farm, owning your own business & caring about the needs of your family. You learn to work through adversity and within your means until the job get’s done. You learn it takes discipline and integrity, and the courage to take risks and learn from your mistakes. When you grow up surrounded by good people who love you and provide wisdom, at some point, it becomes your turn to do the same for others. When you love your community, and want your children and others to have the opportunities that you have had, you get involved. And when you see things are going seriously wrong, it’s time to take a stand!
I have just shared with you the reasons why I am running for State Assembly. I know it won’t be easy, but we have been down this road before. I believe our best days are ahead of us. I am asking for your vote and support to put government in its proper place so we can renew the freedoms for families to prosper in the once and future Empire State.
Respectfully yours,

Craig A. Hayner
